The Stay

image

A flock of pigeons sitting on a transmission line in the early morning, their overnight stay maybe. They eventually fly off, finding different works to do and different places to sit on. This life we have received from the Almighty is also one such stopover. We are all of different castes, creeds, race and religion but if these pigeons can stay together for a night on a wire peacefully, why can’t we live together in peace in this life, without hating each other for their differences?

Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa, the guru to Swami Vivekananda, once said: “God has made different religions to suit different aspirations, times and countries…one can reach God if one follows any of the paths with wholehearted devotion.”

              3. Had you not explained that you’re studying for higher studies, I was going to wax philosophical about how we are all lifelong students. 😀
So Neha, which stream’s students do you teach in +2? And what are you studying for?
On another note, you *must* check the about pages of bloggers you follow or those who follow you. This is an unsolicited advice to tell you that *that* helps you in knowing the mind behind the great words (miyan mitthoo) on that blog. 😀

English literature? Wow! That is so interesting. I always loved literature (had great teachers to thank for that I guess), and still do.

              7. Sense of humour? I don’t think that’s my forté. But when a lady praises you, you accept it with both hands (be a gentleman, dude!) 😀

You shouldn’t be underestimating yourself though. We all have a funny bone or two inside our minds.
Good to know you like spending time with your mum daily, and get to do that too. Yahan to mahine nikal jaate hain deedar kiye hue hi. BTW, do join Twitter. You’ll love it. Helps in marketing the blog as well as connecting with many like-minded wonderful people.

              11. Who knows what more we might have alike? The more you get to know a person, the more you know them. Raha daantne ka sawaal, to wo teacher ki prajaati ka defining trait hai. 😀
