Musingsite’s Anniversary & 100 Posts

9th September, 2015 was the day when Musingsite was finally created. It completed a year yesterday. Moment to cherish!
Throughout last year, whenever I used to read other bloggers’ posts on their 2nd/3rd/nth anniversary, I used to be awed. If nothing else, it at least meant that the person has that much experience. And also, that the person has been at it for that much time despite all the distractions. So their endurance also made an impact on my mind.

Now I’m not trying to go meta here and suggest the reader does the same for me. That would be narcissistic beyond me. I’m just grateful to be able to share my thoughts and views with the world through this platform. I’ve met quite a few learned souls here and have felt my own writing improve in the past one year. For a free account featuring non-periodic ramblings, that’s more than enough.

The WordPress guys didn’t provide a notification yesterday for the blog (not yet). I’d have written this one yesterday but kept waiting in vain for the notification. Happens!

Musingsite and Bloggeray are thankful to the readers for putting up with them through the year. Let’s spread love, peace and the writing bug. To newbies, Bloggeray has this to say – Keep writing regularly. If possible, daily. And if you don’t feel any positive change in a month, you can unfollow him. Do the opposite if you succeed though. 😂😂😂

By the way, this is the 100th post on the blog. I hadn’t planned on it, but the stars aligned themselves quite nicely.

Thanks for reading.

  1. Congratulations on your one year anniversary of blogging. We all look forward to those special milestones when we are working on or with something. I know that, as myself, I’ve got two blogs going but I’m nowhere near the amount of time spent blogging that you’ve got. I have that to look forward to and I’m still trying to grow my audience so I’m looking forward to a few more followers. My one blog for my kitten has 21 followers and my own blog has 23. I’m in competition with my cat, go figure. 🙂

    1. Ha ha. Its a win-win situation for you whether you win or Luna wins.
The time accumulated is an inevitability if you keep at it. The important thing is to not let go. I hope you’d celebrate yours too in due time.
Thank you for the wonderful comments. 😊

  2. Congrats to one of the most active bloggers I know! I hope that we together celebrate Musingsite’s many more anniversaries. One thing I am trying to adapt from your tips is to be regular which I know I’m not at all 😀 (full on guilt)
Also I always enjoy your posts and value each and every comment of yours that you enrich my posts with.
So a BIG thank you for your warmth and amazing thoughts that you put across through your amazing blog. Keep up the awesome work and keep inspiring! 🙂

    1. Oh this is so sweet of you! I’m glad to know that I’ve been able to make a teeny-weeny positive difference to your blog. And we both know, deep down, that the change you’re seeking will come, if a bit late.

Hopefully this blog will see many more such milestones with the support of passionate readers like you.

      Thank you. 😊
